If your insurance is pre-approved to cover your visit, nothing will be owed on the day of the appointment. We are partnered with The Lactation Network and currently able to accept most Anthem, Blue Cross, Blue Shield, United Healthcare, VA CCN, PNOA & Multiplan PPO plans. Once pre-approved, most clients are covered for at least 6 lactation visits by their insurance.

After insurance approval has been verified (usually within 48hrs), an email confirmation will be received of covered services. We will reach out to schedule an appointment with you at that time.

If insurance cannot be pre-approved, you will owe your consult fee in full when you schedule your appointment. You may see available services, policies, fees and option to book your visit on the menu above.

If you are a recipient of Medicaid, WIC, unemployment or have an insurance plan that doesn't cover our services, please email a copy of your documentation to: support@texasbreastfeedingcenter.com. Upon verification, you will receive a unique promo code to use while booking your appointment.

We are currently in the process of leasing an office location, so in-home consultations are at no additional cost to you at this time. We reserve the right to change these policies, including available discounts and fees, at any time. Please check back periodically for the most updated information. Self-pay clients must make payment in full in order to book an appointment.

Appointments cancelled within 48 hours are subject to a cancellation fee of $75, which is not covered by insurance. You may avoid this fee by rescheduling your appointment within this timeframe.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full amount of the visit.

If a payment was already made and the appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, payment will not be refunded.

Initial consultations are approximately 90 minutes and follow-up consultations are approximately 60 minutes. If you believe you will need additional time, please communicate with us about it prior to scheduling; additional fees may apply.

Initial visits & follow up visits can be scheduled in your home or virtually.
